About Us

At rancho we have been offering beautiful jewellery, accessories and artwork - all designed by Michelle Smith since 2008. Starting with a simple market stall at the local Olivetree Market.

Michelle started her career as a frustrated art teacher (secondary high) with double majors in painting and printmaking. But always wanting to do more.  

Living in a rural location (beautiful Hunter Valley NSW) this allows her to gather inspiration from her own property with her love of nature expressed in her creations.

Michelle’s artworks and accessories all mix and merge with a soft palette of colour, pattern and materials. This natural approach extends into the jewellery range, mixing matt finishes, coloured hand cut glass, resins and timbers. Rancho's findings and beads are sourced all over the world with most of our findings designed by Michelle and custom made just for Rancho.

Rancho is proud that our jewellery is hand made in Australia. Unlike other brands that just buy from a website and rebadge their jewellery. We hand assembly all pieces.

You will not find our products on either Temu or Alixpress.

Rancho is proud to be environmentally friendly and fair-trade with all its products using recycled/reclaimed materials where possible and environmentally friendly packaging.
